LOCATION
Boeng Keng Kang 1 (BKK1), an area of 1 km square with the Phnom Penh Independence Monument located in the northeast corner, is the center of Phnom Penh and a prestigious area where foreigners and wealthy people reside.
The south side of BKK1 is called the “Embassy and Ministry of Public Administration Special Zone” because it is dotted with the headquarters of the ruling Cambodian People’s Party, the Ministry of Public Administration, and embassies of various countries, including the Japanese Embassy.
Being a special zone for embassies and the Ministry of Public Administration, there are height restrictions on buildings, so there are no buildings to block the wonderful views, and the area is a beautiful, luxurious area full of greenery.
BKK1, including South BKK1, have the highest land prices and the lowest crime rate in the capital city of Phnom Penh, making them the safest and most popular areas for the wealthy and foreigners.
Within 5 minutes from BKK1 and South BKK1, there are banks, international schools, an AEON Mall, Starbucks, 7-Eleven, Bassac Lane with its bustling Westerners, and top restaurants with international cuisine.
